Programs in Chinese

 

1. Chinese Medicine

 Academic features:  The program sets to train students in the comprehensive knowledge in Chinese Medicine theories, the ability to broaden one’s self and pursue careers in Chinese Medicine prevention, treatment, health care, recovery, education, science and research, and administrative duties in medical institutions. All through the study, teachers will apply different teaching strategies, such as lecturing, group discussion, clinical demonstration, modal presentation, skill training,clinical practice, social involvement, etc.

 

The courses in this program: Diagnostics of traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Herbology, Pharmacology of Traditional Chinese Medical Formulae, Shang-Han-Lun, Jin-Gui-Yao-Lue, Wen-Bing-Xue, Traditional Chinese Pharmacology, Pathology, Chinese Internal Medicine, Emergency Treatment, Western Internal Medicine, Traditional Chinese Gynecology, Traditional Chinese Pediatrics, Traditional Chinese Chirurgery, Acupuncture, etc.

 

 Length of schooling, credits/degrees:  Five years. Students are accredited by the Academic Degree Committee with a Bachelor Degree upon successfully accomplishing all the mandatory courses.

 

2. Chinese Medicine(Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine)

Academic features: This program is to train students to grasp professional knowledge of both Chinese and Western medicine as well as practical skills. Students will have the basic ability to apply the two treatments in combination, which will contribute to Chinese Medicine prevention, treatment, health care, recovery, education, science and research and administrative duties in medical institutions. During the study period, teachers will apply different teaching strategies, such as lecturing, group discussion, clinical demonstration, modal presentation, skill training, clinical practice, social involvement, etc,

 

The courses in this program: Diagnostics of traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Herbology, Pharmacology of Traditional Chinese Medical Formulae, Shang-Han-Lun, Jin-Gui-Yao-Lue, Wen-Bing-Xue, Traditional Chinese Pharmacology, Pathology, Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Instructions to Biomedical Engineering, Chinese Internal Medicine (including Infectious Disease), Emergency Treatment, Traditional Chinese Gynecology, Traditional Chinese Pediatrics, Traditional Chinese Chirurgery, Acupuncture, etc.

3.  Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Tuina

Academic features: This program provides students with the necessary knowledge to become skilled acupuncture professionals who follow career paths in a variety of disciplines, including acupuncture, massage, therapy, education, science and research, and administrative duties in medical institutions. During the program, teachers will apply different teaching strategies, such as lecturing, group discussions, clinical demonstrations, modal presentation, skill training, clinical practice, social involvement, etc. there is a high focus on the basic practical training of Acupuncture and Massage.

 

The courses in this program:  Diagnostics of Chinese traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Herbology, Pharmacology of Traditional Chinese Medical Formulae, Science of Main and Collateral Channel Acupoints, Massage Maneuvers, Chinese Internal Medicine, Massage Therapy, Chinese Osteo-traumatology, Western Internal Medicine, Therapeutic Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Gynecology, etc.

4.  Chinese Materia Medica

Academic features:  The program trains students to grasp Chinese traditional pharmacological theories and knowledge with practical skills in identifying herbs, modification, and quality control evaluation to be successful Chinese traditional pharmacists who will have their career in Chinese medicine production, management, marketing, education, science and research, and administrative duties in medical institutions. During the study period, teachers will apply different teaching strategies, such as lecturing, group discussion, demonstration, experiments etc.

 

The courses in this program: Traditional Chinese Herbs, Pharmacology of traditional Chinese Medical Formulae, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Chemical Analysis, Equipment Analysis, Fundamental Chinese medicine, Pharmaceutical botany, Identification of Chinese Traditional Medicaments, Pharmacology, Pharmacology of Chinese Traditional Medicine, Chinese Medicine Pharmacy, Science of Processing Chinese Materia 004Dedica, etc.

Program in English

 

Chinese Medicine

Academic features: The program focuses on fundamental theories in parallel with clinical practice of both Chinese and Western Medicine. It also includes Acupuncture and Massage. The goal is to train students in Chinese Medicine theories, professional knowledge and clinical practice, to prepare students for careers in Chinese Medicine prevention, treatment, health care, or education, science and research, and administrative duties in medical institutions.

 

The courses in this program:  Fundamental Chinese Medicine Theories, Diagnostics of Chinese Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Herbology, Pharmacology of traditional Chinese Medical formulae, Science of main and collateral channel acupoints, Pathology, Nei-Jing, Shang-Han-Lun, Jin-Gui-Yao-Lue, Wen-Bing-Xue, Needling, Burning principles, Massage, Scalp Acupuncture, Ear Acupuncture, Therapeutic Acupuncture, Acupuncture, Chinese Internal Medicine, Traditional Chinese Chirurgery, Traditional Chinese Gynecology, Traditional Chinese Epidemiology, etc.
