The university's mission is fourfold: to preserve TCM as a vital part of traditional Chinese culture; to train outstanding medical professional; to further develop our understanding of TCM as a medical science, useful for both the prevention and the treatment of disease; and to promote the study and practice of TCM in China and around the world.
