In 1984, the School of Nursing was established as one of China’s earliest
established institutions offering Chinese nursing training at higher education
level. The School has been offering a Chinese nursing diploma program
since 1985, an undergraduate program since 2000 and a postgraduate
program since 2004. It has a long history as one of the leaders in Chinese
nursing education in China.
For over thirty years, it has trained a great number of highly qualified
nursing specialists with a solid theoretical background and clinical skills. It
emphasizes understanding of national and international nursing theories
and practices. It offers Chinese-English teaching and actively seeks to
develop new ways of international cooperation in the field of education.
