Zaozhuang Hospital became the Fourth School of Clinical Medicine, affiliated to BUCM in October 2014. It is one of the first authorized first-class Chinese medicine hospitals in Shandong Province. In January 2015, it was assigned as one of the first 19 pilot hospitals for innovation of TCM diagnosis and treatment at the national level. It is a modern comprehensive hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, which assumes the responsibility for integrated medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, disease prevention, rehabilitation and health care.
