As authorized by the Ministry of Education to run modern distance
education, BUCM officially established School of Distance Education in July
2000. In the School, courseware on-demand and interactive Q & A are used
in teaching, and remote two-way video interactions are carried out for
formal schooling, non-formal schooling, and for in-service TCM practitioners.
It offers the following programs such as Traditional Chinese Medicine,
Chinese Materia Medica, Acupuncture-Moxibustion and Tuina, Nursing,
Public Health Management and Business Administration. Besides formal
schooling, it also offers non-formal schooling in order to make good use of its
teaching resources. Distance education has become an important platform
serving the society.
