On February 4th, H.E. Mrs. Chinar Rustamova, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the People’s Republic of China visited BUCM. President Xu Anlong met with the Ambassador and introduced the mutual collaborations with Turkmenistan State Medical University, which includes a number of Turkmenistan medical students studying Chinese medicine in BUCM and the establishment of a Chinese medicine center in Turkmenistan.

Mrs. Chinar Rustamova was pleased to learn of the collaboration between the two universities. Mrs. Rustamova noted that TCM is well known by the people of Turkmenistan, expressing the great opportunity for the development of Chinese medicine in Turkmenistan. The State Medical University will select a group of excellent students to participate in a foreign exchanges program at BUCM to learn Chinese medicine in September. She expects the Turkmenistan students that study in BUCM will not only learn Chinese culture, but also promote the friendship between the two countries.
