Chinese Medicine Culture Centre and Chinese Language International Promotion (Beijing)

Aiming to popularize TCM as a part of Chinese culture and contribute to the well-being of people around the world, the Chinese Medicine Culture Centre and Chinese Language International Promotion (Beijing) was established in 2016 at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine under the support of the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban).

The center provides an opportunity for visitors to know TCM culture and try out the time-honored practice in person. Currently the sections open to the public include TCM exhibition, consultation, non-herb therapies (such as acupuncture), physical exercise and Chinese medicated food.  The center covers a floor space of 1680 square meters, where TCM and its culture are accessible to visitors through various forms, for example, lectures, workshops, exhibits, demonstrations and high-tech interactive instruments. People may have a chance to taste TCM diagnosis and non-drug treatment such as qigong exercise, healthy diet, etc.. It is expected that visitors will enjoy what they are experienced so as to have a better understanding of TCM and its culture.
