BUCM Chinese Medicine Center in St. Petersburg
On January 18th, 2016, the State Health Care Commission of St. Petersburg, Russia, granted a hospital license to the local TCM Center established by BUCM. Led by prestigious Chinese medical, teaching and research staff, this institution is a key project of the St. Petersburg government, and the first hospital acknowledged by Chinese and Russian government authorities and covered by Russian medical insurance. It provides medical service including TCM internal medicine, acupuncture, tuina, physical therapy, neurology, health examination, cardiology and pediatrics, with a focus on common diseases among medium and high income population and conditions where TCM shows advantageous efficacy.
