From June 15 to 21, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) hosted the "Chinese Bridge" Malaysian Principals' Chinese Language and Chinese Medicine (CM) Cultural Experience Camp. Principals and educators from 12 Malaysian schools participated in this cultural exchange event. The opening ceremony, held on June 15 at the Hepingjie Campus, also marked the inauguration of the International Education College Alumni Association, attended by Yu Yaguang, deputy secretary of the Party committee.

Yu Yaguang welcomed the Malaysian educators, emphasizing the role of CM as a bridge in enhancing China-Malaysia cultural exchanges. She highlighted BUCM's history of training CM professionals from 170 countries and the successful educational collaboration with Malaysia. Yu expressed hopes for the camp to establish long-term cooperation between Malaysian schools and BUCM.

Zheng Jianqiang, acting president of the Malaysian Students Association in China, noted the camp as a valuable opportunity for Malaysian educators to understand China's CM education. He committed to encouraging more Malaysian students to study at BUCM, fostering stronger ties between the two countries.

The event also saw the formation of the International Education College Alumni Association. Yu Yaguang awarded certificates to the newly elected council members. The new president promised to support global alumni and contribute to BUCM's "Double First-Class" initiative.

During the camp, Malaysian principals visited various institutions and participated in immersive experiences at BUCM's TCM Museum, gaining insights into CM's cultural and innovative aspects.

The camp concluded with principals expressing their intent to promote BUCM to Malaysian students, strengthening educational ties and contributing to BUCM's upcoming 75th anniversary celebrations in October.
