On June 5, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) held a forum for representatives of the 2026 graduating class at the Round Table Conference Room in the Peace Street Campus Museum. The event was attended by President Tang Zhishu, Vice President Wang Ting, and leaders from various departments, including the Party Committee Office, Student Affairs Department, Academic Affairs Office, Graduate School, Admissions and Employment Office, Hospital Management Office, Logistics Department, Alumni Association, and Youth League Committee. The forum was chaired by Zhao Jianlei, minister of the Student Affairs Department.

President Tang praised the graduates for their solid knowledge, skills, and patriotic spirit, highlighting their pragmatic and resilient attitude. He delivered a speech titled "From Excellence to Greatness," offering five key expectations: embrace optimism and maintain faith, endure challenges to cultivate inner discipline and kindness, strengthen professional and innovative abilities, focus on core competencies and goals, and be patient and resilient for long-term success.

Vice President Wang Ting listened to the graduates' suggestions, congratulating them on their achievements and praising their application of Chinese Medicine emergency skills. He emphasized the university's commitment to a student-centered approach, enhancing educational programs by reducing theoretical hours, increasing practical components, and promoting medical-educational integration and digital intelligence. Wang assured immediate action on the suggestions and promised better resources and services.

During the forum, graduates shared their experiences at BUCM, from academic studies to clinical training and campus life. They expressed gratitude to their mentors and discussed ideas for the university’s development, focusing on curriculum improvement, research innovation, clinical teaching reforms, career guidance, cultural activities, and logistical support.
