The Ministry of Education's Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges recently announced the "2025 Recommended List for Sino-Foreign Youth Social Practice Activity Bases." Supported by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, the "Qihuang Exploration—Sino-Foreign Youth Social Practice Activity Base" from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) has been successfully selected. This marks BUCM's first time receiving this honor and is one of 124 bases approved nationwide, with six from Beijing.

This recognition highlights the collaborative efforts of various departments within BUCM, acknowledging the university's achievements in international student education and marking a significant milestone in its multi-departmental cooperation.

The "Qihuang Exploration" base is managed by BUCM's International Education School (Communication Center) and features the Traditional Chinese Medicine Experience Hall. It integrates resources such as the museum, Guantiange, the CM DIY Identification Experience Center, and the Medical History and Records Studio. This creates a rich, immersive CM cultural activity matrix. The base caters to the developmental needs of Sino-foreign youth, offering activities like CM cultural lectures, immersive exhibitions, traditional practices, food and medicine experiences, and AR/VR digital learning, helping youth understand CM and Chinese culture through practice.

Moving forward, BUCM plans to enhance its platform by integrating with international exchange programs, creating a robust venue for global youth to "see China, understand China, and foster friendship." This initiative aims to contribute to global youth understanding and cooperation, reinforcing BUCM's role in building a community with a shared future for humanity.
