Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences is an international, peer-reviewed journal featuring advanced scientific research in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Sponsored by Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Tsinghua University Press, and supervised by the Ministry of Education, the journal aims to serve as an authoritative platform for presenting state-of-the-art research results.

Published quarterly, it welcomes submissions of original research articles on experimental and clinical studies on TCM—including herbs and acupuncture—that adopt modern scientific methods. It also publishes case reports, reviews and articles on TCM theory and related policies.

Over its six years of publication, the journal has been indexed in major domestic and international databases, including CNKI, VIP, Wanfang, CA (Chemical Abstracts), DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) Embase, and Scopus.
