The Qi-Huang Chinese Medicine School, founded at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) in July 2020, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders in Chinese medicine. The school, which has an integrated training pathway from undergraduate to PhD, optimizes its curriculum and explores new approaches to education. Its mission is to build a professional development model that reflects the essence of Chinese medicine, carries distinctive Chinese characteristics, meets international standards and produces professionals who are culturally grounded, clinically skilled, innovative and globally minded.

The school highlights the integration of Chinese and Western medicine, cross-disciplinary collaboration between medicine, engineering and science, and the close connection between education, research and clinical practice. Guided by clinical problem-solving, it has developed a structured, modular and phased training system for nurturing future leaders in the field.

Its curriculum is centered on clinical needs and delivered in project-based modules. Courses are taught by publicly appointed instructors, including leading academic masters, ensuring that students receive high-quality training across all areas of Chinese medicine.
