Founded in 1982, Education of Chinese Medicine is a high-level scholarly journal on traditional Chinese medicine education and research, supervised by the Ministry of Education and sponsored by Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. With domestic and international distribution, the journal integrates guidance, academic rigor, research and practical application, providing comprehensive support for the development of TCM education.

Currently, Education of Chinese Medicine is indexed in the China Core Journal Alternative Database, serves as a statistical source journal in the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, and is included in the Wanfang Data Resource System, China Journals Net and the Chinese Academic Journals (CD Edition).

Since its establishment, Education of Chinese Medicine has assembled a strong editorial and review board of more than 100 experts across disciplines including TCM, Chinese Materia Medica and Western medicine. Its contributors include faculty and administrators from medical universities across China, people from all walks of life who are concerned with the development of TCM education, medical professionals engaged in clinical teaching, TCM researchers, overseas TCM practitioners, as well as undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students. To date, the journal has received and published manuscripts from 33 regions and more than 100 universities and colleges.

To fully support the development of TCM education and comprehensively reflect both the research progress and international trends in the field, the journal welcomes contributions in the following areas:
