1. Chinese Medicine Program

Language of Instruction: Chinese or Chinese-English bilingual

This program trains students to systematically master the fundamental theories, professional knowledge and practical skills of Chinese medicine, while cultivating strong self-directed learning abilities. Graduates are prepared for careers in Chinese medicine, covering clinical practice, preventive care, health maintenance and rehabilitation, as well as opportunities in teaching, research and management.

In the bilingual (Chinese-English) program, students strengthen both Chinese language proficiency and knowledge of traditional Chinese culture. The curriculum balances foundational and clinical studies, as well as Chinese and Western medicine, using bilingual teaching methods. Graduates gain a solid understanding of Chinese medical theory, clinical practice skills and professional thinking, preparing them for international careers in Chinese medicine.

Students will complete over 2,000 hours of required professional courses in Chinese medicine, alongside general education courses.

Classical Chinese Medicine Courses (e.g., Shang Han Lun, Jin Kui Yao Lue)

Chinese Medicine Clinical Courses (e.g., Chinese Internal Medicine, Chinese Gynecology)

Western Medicine Clinical Courses (e.g., Internal Medicine, Fundamentals of Diagnostics)

General Education Courses include: 

Chinese Traditional Culture, Chinese Language, etc.

Teaching methods include lectures, group discussions, simulated demonstrations, skills training, clinical internships and social practice.

2. Acupuncture and Tuina Program

Language of Instruction: Chinese

This program trains students to systematically master the fundamental theories, professional knowledge, and practical skills of acupuncture and tuina, while cultivating strong self-directed learning abilities. Graduates are prepared for careers in acupuncture and tuina, clinical practice in Chinese medicine departments, as well as in teaching, research, and management.

Students will complete over 2,000 hours of required professional courses in acupuncture and tuina, alongside general education courses.

Basic Chinese Medicine Courses (e.g., Basic Theories of Chinese Medicine, Diagnostics of Chinese Medicine)

Classical Chinese Medicine Courses (e.g., Shang Han Lun, Jin Kui Yao Lue)

Acupuncture and Tuina Courses (e.g., Meridian and Acupoint Theory, Acupuncture Therapy)

Basic Medical Science Courses (e.g., Pharmacology, Pathology)

During the program, instructors emphasize practical training in acupuncture needling techniques, moxibustion, tuina manipulations and other core skills. Teaching methods include lectures, group discussions, simulated demonstrations, skills training, clinical internships and social practice.
